The main objectives are to support environmental and land tenure regularization, sociobioeconomy initiatives, and low-carbon socioeconomic development policies in the State of Pará, particularly in the Lower Amazon and Xingu regions.

To achieve these objectives, the project is organized into the following components and outputs:

Component 1 – Environmental and Land Tenure Regularization and Strengthening of Public Institutions

1.1 Updating and/or registration in CAR, land surveying, and agronomic inspections of family farming properties and quilombola territories;

1.2 Land registry assessments to support the identification of areas suitable for the creation of Protected Areas;

1.3 Digitization and indexing of the historical land records archive of ITERPA;

1.4 Strengthening public agencies involved in technical assistance, environmental regularization, and the promotion of sustainable productive activities through the acquisition of equipment and vehicles.

Component 2 – Support for Sociobioeconomy

2.1 Mapping of bioeconomy businesses;

2.2 Strengthening productive organizations (OSPs), including cooperatives and producers’ associations.

Component 3 – Cross-cutting Actions to Promote Low-Carbon Socioeconomic Development Policies in Pará

3.1 Capacity building for local managers, public sector technicians working on socioenvironmental issues, and representatives of OSPs;

3.2 Awareness campaigns on socioenvironmental public policies available to local populations and productive sectors;

3.3 Networking and integration events focused on environmental and land tenure regularization and the promotion of bio-based businesses, including two Business Fairs;

3.4 Establishment of demonstration and technological reference units focused on sociobioeconomy value chains.
